Yes that's me. I think the big birthday bash put my little one out of commission, as he was diagnosed with low-grade pneumonia yesterday. He wasn't feeling well at his party I could tell, and with all the new, strange faces I'm sure he was worn out! The party was a blast though! We had a super good turn out and the cake turned out AMAZINGLY!! I was quite pleased with my super-d-duper elmo cake....which I totally made too much of. I'm STILL eating it.

I really don't feel like posting so you're only going to get the condensed version. I'm just kind of waiting around for Gabe to puke up his phlem, pumping him full of Motrin, Tylenol, antibiotic, and something to break up all his phlem, which might as well be torture as far as he's concerned....he screams and thrashes, and it's pretty much a two man effort to hold him down and pump him full of crap. Oh, and then there's all the rectal temps....his favorite (and mom's too) *said with sarcasm*

When we were at the doc's yesterday they gave him a few chest x-rays and found a spot of something in his left lung, which they aren't entirely SURE is pneumonia substance (whatever constitues substance), but they wanted to treat him for it nonetheless....just in case. This is his first real cold actually and between the other child I babysit having the same thing, I'm sick of sickness. It's kinda funny....it's like an assembly line. One kid gets vics, the other does too. One kid gets medicine, the other kid does too. Lucky for me they both sleep at the same time and lately I've been sleeping with whichever one falls asleep on me first. They really haven't been eating much, so they pretty much just lay around and play quietly. FOR ONCE. But I hate that they're sick. Gabe's cough is terrible....and he chokes all the time on his phlem, but the doc said that was normal, and I've been advised that if he starts gagging on it, to reach in a pull it out. Oh what fun. Anywho...that's all the news here, and as I said before, posting isn't my forte this morning. More updates as they come, but for now pray for a quick recovery for the little ones, and that I can keep my sanity through all this maddness.

Also, I have a really cool answer to prayer that I'll share with you all on Friday. (I have to wait until then to make sure it really IS an answer to prayer) and NO...I'm NOT pregnant!
