The time has come...

Gabriel's surgery is scheduled for tomorrow (friday) afternoon at 2:15 p.m. We need to be at the hospital around noon. If you think of us by any chance, please pray for our little guy that his surgery would go without hang-up. The entire proceedure should last anywhere from 1 1/2-2 hours. The Lord has given me and my husband a peace about the surgery, and it's my prayer that tomorrow I will be strong for Gabe. He's such a trooper and he's going to come through this with flying colors. I will only be able to be with him right up until he goes into the operating room to get his anesthesia, so he will be leaving me far earlier than I would like, but I have the comfort of knowing that he's forever in the Strong Hands of my Father, who loves him far more than I could ever imagine. That is a very real comfort to me during this time. I will post after the surgery to let you all know how it went. Thank you for your prayers.
