Diapers? Where?

It's happening!!! Gabriel is going to the potty all by himself!!! I cannot believe the days are finally here...I thought I'd be drowning in diapers forever! I am so one proud mama! He has just caught on so quickly this last week or so. It began as I said before, with only using the potty when he didn't have a diaper/pull-ups, or big-boy underware on, which gradually progressed (while I've been at work no less...) to screaming at the top of his lungs that he has to go pee and proceeding to rip his pants/diaper off, running upstairs, flinging his potty seat on potty, stepping on his step stool, and swinging his little legs over that potty like a pro. He even wipes himself afterwards, removes his potty seat and flushed the toilet. Now...if I can only get him to wash his hands before screaming once again at the top of his lungs, "TREAT! TREAT!" The kid gets a skittle or a "treat", (i.e whatever mom deems worthy at the time), every time he uses the potty. This adds up. But it works. And while I apologize to those of you who could care less how or when or even why my son uses the potty, I cannot hide my pride and utter gleefullness at the thought of purchasing one less pack of diapers/wipes. There's nothing like the feeling of saving money!!!!! Thank you for sharing in my joy! And as for Elijah...shoot.....he's just growing up WAY TOO FAST. He'll be four months tomorrow and beginning solids already! I just cannot get over the fact that it seems like I just had him yesterday. Where'd my tiny baby go? He is SO not one anymore. Nevermind the fact that he's just plain huge and into 6-9 month (and depending on the brand 12 month) already...this doesn't help! He was 16 lbs at his 2 month check-up. He goes next week for his 4 month and I'm a little scared....one can only hope he's still less than 20 lbs.! I can't emphasize it enough...Justin and I produce HUGE babies! They may start small but that doesn't mean anything! And adorable? Oh so very much. Stay tuned for new pics coming soon...
