Calling all Readers....

So I've been in the mood to read lately. Since finishing college, my love of literature of all kinds has ceased to exist. Well mostly. Time has just been severely lacking (which is understandable with various full time responsibilities). However, since a couple new developments or so have, well......developed (I would say "see last post," however that IRONICALLY got deleted), I have been able to renew my love of books. The last trip to the town Library proved promising as I came home with a couple of really great ones. The first (and I recommend this book) Why I Jumped by Tina Zahn, the true story of a woman who jumped off the Tower Drive Bridge and was miraculously saved, delt with the heavy subject of Depression/Post Pardom Depression and discovering the abundant life in Jesus Christ. Couldn't put it down. Finished that in a mere two days. The second, Fat Girl by Judith Moore, was a "heartbreaking, fascinating, and darkly funny" novel that left me repulsed at times at the horror this world is capable of. That too I finished in record time. My appetite for literature has become difficult to satisfy. So my question to you is...do you recommend any other good books before I go browsing the library shelves again? Mommy books? Real life drama books? Auto-biographies/biographies? Anything.

I'm still seething at the tragic loss of my last post.

I can't say what is it just yet, but things are going to be changing around here I'll tell you that. Look for some exciting news. Well....it might not be all that exciting to you but it is to me. At least I think it is. In my deepest heart's desire it is. But along with this inevitable change will surely come...oh...what are the words I'm looking for?? I give up...

I can already hear the wheels anxiously turning in some of your little minds. It's a delicious feeling. Should I give a hint? A clue? Should I nip certain ideas in the bud? Nah.....

Oh and I almost forgot!!! I'M AN AUNTIE!!!! Justin's lil sis gave birth *hangs head in shame at late announcement* August 19th to a beautiful baby boy named Cayden. I cannot wait to meet little Cayden. I'm sure I will have some postable pictures of the adorable little bundle soon :)

*sigh*

*still hanging head in shame at lack of interesting blog content*

That's all I have for now. Pathetic. Just pathetic.

"Me and Emma" by Elizabeth Flock is a heartbreaking yet wonderfully written story about two sisters growing up in an abusive home with a shocking twist at the end that you won't be able to stop thinking about for weeks. I'm recommending it to all of my friends. In fact, my best friend just read it, and she loved it just as much as I did! It's an excellent book.

I tried to comment on this the other day -but your page wouldn't let me on for some reason...ah blogger!

I'm currently reading Karen Kingsbury - her latest is: Sunrise. Next on my list is: Red Letter Christian by Tony Campolo. Can't wait to get into that one!!!!!

I LOVE to read and find myself devouring books many an afternoon during nap time, and completely neglecting the laundry and dinner prep- I get so lost in the books!!

When do we all get to know about these new changes?? You are such a tease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
