Look closely. Yup. You see it? Huge gaping hole in one of my many living room windows (YES I have stain glass in my living room *rolling eyes*). At any rate, I'd like to consider myself reasonably intelligent. I'm no genius mind you, but I can hold my own in an intellectual debate. That being said, I also become extremely agitated whenever anything that stings is in my immediate proximity. Usually I find Justin to either kill it, or kill me before it can get to me. Well, I heard the all too familiar buzzing of a GIANT hornet/bee (whatever that thing was) while sitting at the computer today. It was HUGE. Justin was sleeping after working all night last night and I didn't want to wake him, so I decided to be brave and knock that sucker to kingdom come. But...what to knock it with?? I eyed Justin's huge black work boots sitting nearby and thought that would do the job nicely. Ready, aim...miss *Que crazy lady running and screaming in opposite direction* The disgusting mutant repositioned itself on the stain glass and after returning to my post, I retrieved the shoe for another try. This time, I told myself, I would NOT miss. And, as you can see by the picture of my window, I didn't. I can still hear tiny pieces of glass falling as the wind blows shards into my home. I am an idiot. You'd think I might would have thought of that. Justin is not going to be happy...but I can't seem to stop smiling. Ironic? I don't think so. This is my life-my accident-prone, goofy, act before I think life.
