Vacation was WONDERFUL!!!!! We had a relaxing time and as always, it wasn't quite long enough, but just long enough to tease! Favorite thing: Sleep! Favorite Food: Applebee's Baby Back Ribs (OH YEAH). Favorite Memory: Glimpsing the Statue of Liberty for the first time as we crossed on the ferry. Favorite Hotel Amenity: Terry cloth Bathrobe ;) Interesting Note: The length of a Sunday morning African American church service (4.5 hrs!!) The length of ONE random worship song (20 min!!) Neatest Sites: Rockefeller Plaza/The Today Show (we were on TV right behind Meredith and Matt for 25 seconds or so until security told us to leave-oops!/Time Square). Things I didn't like: No hot tub in our hotel room, no air conditioning/fans in the workout room, no Conan O'Brian, Manhattan crazy drivers (seriously...don't you people know what a LANE is?!?!, motorcycles that zoom past your window in between lanes at 50 mph during stand still traffic (that HAS to be illegal). Still, all in all our trip was amazing and much needed, and I'm happy to be back home with my boys!
On the horizon...Elijah's first haircut!!! I'm biting the bullet and taking him in tomorrow morning if everything goes well. I will post a picture account soon. Tomorrow will be a sad, sad day *sniff*.
