60% GIRL. That's what the u/s tech said. And that's all I know! The entire u/s lasted about 10 minutes, after which I was immediately scheduled to see the doc for my regular appt. During that appt. Justin asked the doc if we could sneak back in again real quick to see if baby had moved her (?) legs (which were apparently crossed the entire time Indian style) and he reluctantly agreed. Only this time the woman doing the u/s wasn't an u/s tech but a desk nurse and she was asking me what I saw! The entire situation screams irony. So that's that I suppose. The doc mentioned another u/s if necessary at 32 wks if I really wanted to know the gender. I was so hoping to know for sure today! The baby looks absolutely precious though. Baby was looking right at us at some points (FREAKY...trust me), waving arms and legs, wiggling and kicking plenty. It was amazing to watch. I am thankful for a healthy baby and can't wait to meet the little one. The heartbeat was 156 during the u/s and 147 during the doc appt. The rest of this pregnancy will not go fast enough for me I'm sure!
