So I took a benadryl this morning which, sad to say, knocked me completely out. Stone cold on the couch while Gabe played on the living room floor. It was almost impossible to stay awake! I did however wake up to Gabe crying because he hit his head. Bad mommy! Nothing a kiss didn't take care of though (alright....a kiss AND juice). Sometimes mommy's kisses just aren't enough ;) Needless to say I've been dragging around all day due to that stupid stuff. So I had some coffee. I never drink it except when I'm desperate and well...I was. Basically my coffee is like, "hey have some coffee with your creamer!" All I want is the comfort of knowing there's caffine...you can have the coffee tast. BLECK!
My heart breaks for the disaster that took place in the gulf yesterday morning. Apperently it's the worse storm to ever hit America. That's crazy! Tragedy and loss. I only wish I could go there and help. I can't do that, but I can pray. To me that sounds like such a cop out sometimes, but in reality...prayer works, doesn't it? Sometimes thats all you really can do.
Nuts....I think the caffine buzz is wearing off...gotta....go....get....more...zzzzzzzzzz.

My Wife,
I love you dearly! You are so cute and your heart is amazing! I appreciate what you do so much!
your hubs,
-Justin
Nicole, this is my second pregnancy, and both of my docs as wellas my dad (he's a physician) have declared Benadryl safe in pregnancy (even in your first trimester, but it's a category B drug, so it's advised to wait until after your first trimester to take it. So go ahead and take it! Just don't over-do it!
Praying is the best thing to do for the people involed in the storm. All they will let us do down here is give money. They are utilizing the Red Cross USA and the Red Cross Canada and also the Salvation Army. See my post for more info on the latest details :)
