Still feeling like crap physically. I took Gabe to get his 1 yr shots tonight, and held him as they shot him up four times. It wasn't bad, actually. Right after he was done, he was smilling at the nurses that gave him the things in the first place! Which made me feel a whole lot better. I really thought it was going to be the worst, but like most things it wasn't as bad as I thought :)

shots can be quite traumatic, and I'm glad it went well. he must have had good nurses!
You are so lucky! I have nightmares for days before Jadon gets his shots, because the way he cries during those things makes ME cry! I feel like such a bad mom for holding my kid down while I let someone else hurt him.
I have been saying since I was a little kid that they need to come up with some tablets for kids to take, instead of getting shots! I used to scream and cry when I got them, up until I was 18 years old... BIG BABY I am!
