And the verdict is...

X marks the spot...

Well....there is an X on there that the doc put on the "special spot" but I don't think you can see it very well...anywho....have fun guessing :)
We're VERY thrilled :)
The ultrasound itself was VERY quick. Much quicker than Gabe's was, and my doc didn't seem too concerned about checking the chambers of the heart, the brain, the limbs, or anything like that as did Gabe's unltrasound tech. I was a bit dissapointed about that, because I think that's all the ultrasounds I get....but every doc is different, so perhaps they will do a more extensive one farther along down the road. But so far baby seems very healthy and strong and that makes for one happy mama!!! On a prayer request note, I have to go back in a couple of weeks for another evaluation to check my cervix because I've been having a lot of contractions and a few other interesting things happen that led the doc to believe that early labor may be a problem. So far the cervix remains closed and I'm not anticipating any problems, but just to be on the safe side I will be monitored and if anything changes then some other precautions will have to be taken (what those are I have no clue....bed rest maybe?). So please keep baby rader # 2 in your prayers that labor will come at the right time and not too early. Thank you all again for your prayers during this pregnancy. It came about through some struggle, and many, many tears, but it's such a miracle and today I give all praise to my Heavenly Father who has LAVISHED my family with grace.

Congrats!!! Are you and Justin going to release the name of baby rader #2? I always wanted two boys then a girl, now I just don't care as long as I have babies, I'm set. Although the idea of having more than one female scares me. Anywhoo... love and miss you! And congrats again!

There will be no releasing of the baby's name until delivery :) We told ppl Gabe's name and almost changed it because we didn't like the way it sounded when some ppl pronounced it!!! :) He was almost a Joshua Allen :) SO.....even though I absolutely LOVE the name we have picked out, I cannot share quite yet;) But if time keeps flying like it has been...he'll be here in no time a'tall!!

Okay, just got back from holidays so am a little late on commenting! But...congrats!!! You must be so excited to finally know just who it is inside your belly with you!! Now you can call him by name, pray for him by name, and know him as his personality continues to present itself and kick you! (ha)

What an exciting time for you all!!

We'll be praying that labour holds off until baby is able to safely arrive!!
